Introduction

Shanetnick Solutions ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to handling your personal information transparently and responsibly. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you visit our website at shanetnicksolutions.com, take the Whole-Self Wellness Check-In, or engage our coaching services.

This Policy applies to all users of our website and services. We do not impose geographic restrictions on access, and this Policy is structured to comply with applicable laws across jurisdictions, including the GDPR (EU), UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA (California), and the comprehensive privacy laws of other US states including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and Oregon.

1. About our services

Shanetnick Solutions is a wellness coaching business. Our services include educational content, the Whole-Self Wellness Check-In assessment, and coaching engagements.

We are not a healthcare provider. We do not diagnose, treat, or cure any medical or mental health condition. Wellness coaching is not a substitute for licensed therapy, psychiatric care, medical treatment, or any other form of professional care. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a licensed professional or call 988 (the US Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).

Our services are intended for adults age 18 and older.

2. Who we are

Shanetnick Solutions is operated by Shane as a sole proprietor. The website is located at shanetnicksolutions.com. The data controller for purposes of GDPR is Shane d/b/a Shanetnick Solutions. Contact information appears in the Contact Us section below.

3. What information we collect

(a) Information you provide directly

(b) Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, our hosting provider (Hostinger) automatically logs standard request information for security and operational purposes, including:

This information is governed by Hostinger's privacy policy and retention practices.

(c) Email engagement data

When you receive emails from us through Hostinger Reach, our email platform may track whether you open the message and which links you click. Unsubscribing stops both the emails and the tracking.

4. How we use your information

Legal bases under GDPR (for users in the EU/UK)

5. Sensitive personal information

The Whole-Self Wellness Check-In may collect information that legally qualifies as "sensitive personal information" under CCPA/CPRA and as "special category data" under the GDPR, including information about your physical health and fitness, mental and emotional wellbeing, lifestyle and habits, and relationships and life context.

We collect this information only with your voluntary, informed consent when you choose to take the Check-In. We use it solely to generate your personalized Wellness Blueprint and to improve our service in aggregate, non-identifying form. We do not use sensitive information to infer characteristics about you for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the wellness service you have requested.

You have the right to limit the use of your sensitive information at any time by contacting us.

6. Cookies, tracking, and analytics

Our website uses a minimal set of cookies and third-party resources. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or any other behavioral advertising or analytics tracker.

(a) Strictly necessary cookies

Our hosting platform (Hostinger) sets session and security cookies required for the website to function. These cookies do not track you across sites and are not used for advertising.

(b) Google Fonts

Our website loads typefaces from Google's Fonts CDN (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). When fonts load, your IP address is exposed to Google for the duration of the font request. Google's privacy practices govern how they handle that data.

(c) Email engagement tracking

As described in Section 3(c) and Section 7, our email platform tracks email opens and link clicks once you have subscribed.

We do not engage in cross-site tracking, behavioral advertising, or any form of data profiling for marketing purposes.

7. Email communications

When you complete the Wellness Check-In and provide your email, you will receive your Wellness Blueprint and may receive follow-up emails about wellness topics and our coaching services. Email communications are managed through Hostinger Reach, which tracks opens and clicks as described above.

Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time with one click. Unsubscribing immediately removes you from future emails and stops engagement tracking.

8. Payment processing

If you subscribe to a coaching tier, payment is processed through Stripe. Your credit card and payment details are handled entirely within Stripe's secure infrastructure. We do not see, store, or have access to your full payment card information. Stripe's privacy policy (available at stripe.com/privacy) governs how they handle your payment data.

We retain transaction records (date, amount, service tier, last four digits of card on file) for accounting, tax, and legal purposes for the time period required by law (typically seven years in the United States).

9. Third-party service providers

We use a limited set of third-party services to operate our business. We share only the minimum information necessary for each service to perform its function. Each service operates under its own privacy policy.

We do not authorize any third-party service provider to use your personal information for any purpose beyond providing the contracted service to us.

10. International data transfers

We are based in the United States. If you are located outside the United States, any information you provide to us will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. The privacy laws of these countries may differ from those of your home country.

When we transfer personal data of EU, UK, or other foreign data subjects to the United States or other jurisdictions, we rely on appropriate safeguards including Standard Contractual Clauses where required, the contractual data protection terms of our service providers, and your explicit consent where applicable.

11. Data retention

You may request earlier deletion at any time, subject to limited exceptions for legal compliance and dispute resolution.

12. Data security

We take reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect your personal information:

No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. However, we maintain these practices to minimize the risk of unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your data.

13. Your privacy rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal information. To exercise any right, contact us using the information in the Contact Us section below. We will respond within 30 days (or within the timeframes required by applicable law).

(a) Rights available to all users

(b) Additional rights for California residents

Under the CCPA and CPRA, you have the right to know what categories of personal information we have collected, request deletion, correct inaccurate information, opt out of sale or sharing (we do not sell or share), limit use of sensitive personal information, and be free from discrimination for exercising your rights.

(c) Additional rights for other US state residents

Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, and opt out of certain processing of your personal information. We honor all rights granted by your state's privacy law upon verified request.

(d) Additional rights for EU/UK/EEA/Switzerland residents

Under the GDPR and UK GDPR, you have the right to access your personal data, request rectification, request erasure, request restriction of processing, object to processing, receive your data in a portable format, withdraw consent at any time, and lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

(e) Verifying your identity

To protect your information, we may ask you to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. Verification typically involves confirming the email address you provided to us.

14. Do not sell or share

Shanetnick Solutions does not sell your personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration. We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not engage in targeted advertising. The only third parties that receive your personal information are the operational service providers named in Section 9, and only to the extent necessary to deliver our services.

If our practices ever change, we will update this Policy and provide notice and opt-out options as required by law.

15. Children's privacy

Our services are intended for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18, and we do not direct our services to children under 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from someone under 18, we will delete it promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the information in the Contact Us section below.

16. Data breach notification

If a breach of personal information occurs that affects your data, we will notify you and, where required, applicable regulators without undue delay and within the timeframes required by applicable law. Notification will describe the nature of the breach, the categories of data affected, the steps we are taking, and the steps you may want to take.

17. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this Policy. For material changes, we will provide additional notice by email if we have your address, or by a prominent notice on the website. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
